This musical journey began between friends and founding members Olle Wahlström and Simon Ström as the multi instrumentalists came together with the shared vision to create something different than the pop band they'd been in together previously. In the process one of the most exciting, new Swedish bands in the fuzz-centric, psychedelic prog milieu was born. Introducing: UNDULATHUND.
Undulathund is a psychedelic rock band weaving fuzz-heavy riffs, dreamy grooves, and improvised explorations into raw, instrumental storytelling rooted in spontaneity and driven by feel. Their sound is equal parts stoner rock propulsion, melodic soul, and cosmic freakout.
Born in a Malmö rehearsal space on a snowy day in 2024, their self-titled, debut, three track album was recorded live and in one take. The track names are a tongue in cheek take on "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly."
Floating in a dreamy realm where the sonic landscape is a dynamic and soulfully innovative oasis of jam driven, instrumental psychedelic rock, Undulathund captivate with a mixture of driving groove interwoven with strong melodies, heavy riffs, spacy atmospherics, creative improvisations, and raw energy. The Undulathund experience is nurtured through electric live performance and is an invitation to move your body, your mind and your soul.

“ Delicate and feral, cosmic and grounded, yet kaleidoscopically explosive and intrinsically free, Undulathund's psychedelic collective is weaving krauty, fuzz-heavy riffs, dreamy grooves, and improvised explorations into raw, instrumental storytelling.Close to 37 minutes of absolute jammy perfection, with a sound comprised of equal parts stoner rock propulsion, and cosmic jazz freakout. A real banger! ”
